Want to know what the Cans4Films Festival is all about?
The good news is that it’s simple and rewards you with that warm fuzzy feeling that you get when you do a good deed.
We know that when it comes to helping out, nobody’s more willing than us Aussies and the Cans4Films Festival is all about helping those in our own backyard. And as you know, as the cooler months of the year draw closer, you need a hearty, warm meal to fill your stomach. We believe that having a hot meal every single night is not a luxury; it’s a basic human right. That said, we’ve brought you the Cans4Films Festival yet again to allow you to get onboard to make this happen.
Your participation in this campaign is worth so much more than just a can of food here and there as you’re also actively raising awareness that hunger relief is a problem in Australia – a sorely underreported issue considering the statistics that support this fact.
Here’s how you can take part in this worthwhile cause:
• Visit your local participating Network Video store to donate a can of food during the entire month of July.
• Pass it onto a Network Video store employee.
• Take home a free movie rental.
It can’t get any easier! Better still, donate two cans of food and you’ll get three free weekly rentals… now that’s a bonus! Help people and entertain yourself at the same time: it’s a win-win.
The 2011 Cans4Films Festival will be held in participating Network Video stores across Australia for the entire month of July.
You can use the Store Locator on our home page to find your nearest participating Network store. You can drop of your can donations there.

Conditions: Tins must be 300g or greater in size (or approved by store staff). Tinned food must not be out of date. All renters must be a member of the store (membership is free). Late fees still apply if the DVD is not returned by the required date. Not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
